Mainly because I like to learn about smart dedicated people. I had to laugh to myself when reading how Professor Silva's father was described as using the term 'you guys' when referring to the female members of the household. My father used to do the same thing, drove my Mother mad!. He also called the women in his office "the girls". My Mom would always ask if they were under 18. Although I consider myself a feminist, I am not sure how appropriate this next comment is. But Professor Silva looks very sexy in those boots! I always enjoy reading the Professors Corner. Social commentary is not the first thing I think of when reading a restaurant review but BAM there it was. To be fair to Larry I have no idea if he is a racist. His comments obviously were interpreted that way and I can't say I disagree with the authors logic. I also like the fact how he gently calls out UW Bothell and the former Governor. One thing I know for sure is that a Gentleman would not point out to a customer the fly infested pest strip in his restaurant. That is enough of a reason for me never to eat there.
