ASUWB invites students to address Board of Regents about rising tuition costs

Freddie Hensen, president of the Associated Students of University of Washington Bothell has invited students to attend a questions and answers session hosted by the Univesity of Washington Board of Regents on Wed, Feb. 15, 2012, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the Seattle campus. The session is intended to give students the opportunity to ask questions and speak out against another round of tuition increases expected to take place in response to recent budget cuts.
“This is an opportunity to raise our specific concerns with tuition increases, offer solutions and perspective, and contribute to the discourse in a positive and innovative way,” Hensen said.
Students will be meeting in front of the Commons on the Promenade at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday and carpooling to the Seattle Campus to address the Regents. Fore more information, contact ASUWB via
