Mimi Allin holds an M.A. in Creative Writing from City College of New York. She produces poetry, journals, questionnaires, visual poetry, text-art and poetry-driven performances for public spaces. Allin was the Poetess of Green Lake from July 2006 to July 2007. She recently served as the nation’s first ever Corporate Poet and held her residency at NBBJ in Seattle. Allin is also the second artist ever to be in residency at Seattle’s Project: Space Available. Her project there is ongoing through May 2010.
